Real Madrid are in complete control of their Champions League quarter-final, going into the second leg against Juventus with a 3-0 lead.

That they are is in no small part down to the brilliance of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bayern Munich have the upper hand as they face Sevilla in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.

The Spanish side arrive in Germany needing to overturn a 2-1 first leg deficit from a tetchy first encounter last week.

Sevilla forged ahead on 32 minutes when Pablo Sarabia whacked past Sven Ulreich, atoning for his earlier miss of a simple chance.

But the lead lasted just five minutes.

Franck Ribery’s early cross caught a heel of former Manchester City star Jesus Navas and flummoxed keeper David Soria.

And the winger repeated the feat to complete the turnaround.

He picked out Thiago at the far post, who headed in via another deflection to put the Bavarian club in charge.
